Our son has benefited tremendously from Mohammad Khakpour’s coaching, both on the soccer field and off. Mohammad’s immense soccer experience and skills makes him an unparalleled coach. He took this group of individually talented boys and placed half of them in positions they had never played before. Mohammad was able to recognize their potential, teach them the skills needed for that position and teach them a much higher-level of soccer. Our son has learned respect, teamwork and that hard-work does pay off; all great skills for the soccer field and in life.
--Valerie Morrill
Mohammad is able to instill discipline and and a good work ethic into the players in a way that affects not only their knowledge of the game, but their attitude and behavior off the field. The players respect Mohammad, and no one works harder to bring out the best in the players than Mr. Khakpour. I am grateful to have my son learn from a man whose poise and ability are world class.

Our son, Cole, has played soccer since he was only 5. At age 9, he joined his first local Orange County club team. It was a negative experience with a team leadership that was driven only by a desire to win to the benefit of the clubs fame. There was an incredible amount of favoritism and the use of non-club member "ringers" for key games. Our son, being a good player, was not impacted personally but was exposed to what not to do when coaching a team of eager boys who sought positive leadership. He and several other boys ended the season hating the coach, the experience and the club.
Playing on the MK team this past year has been an exceptionally satisfying experience for our son and for us. Our son has not only improved his soccer skills ten-fold, but he has also learned the importance of being part of a team where the whole of the team is valued more than the individual players. He has excelled in improved personal responsibility and strength and has garnered an improved appreciation for playing his position. As left-mid, he is thrilled to simply provide the assist that sets up the team for a goal. He has been taught that if each player plays their position properly, the win will be enjoyed by the entire team. MK wins as a team and loses as a team. Pressure to win at the cost of the proper play is not a part of MKSC. The leadership of the club instills the need to team and the need to respect the skills of one another. Club leadership consistently demonstrates an astonishing ability to capture the hearts and minds of the players and of the parents. The children on the team are committed to learn and improve their skills due to the absolute commitment of the clubs leadership to each and every player individually and collectively. The club recognizes that at the young age of many of its players, understanding the fundamentals will position its players for varsity-level play later in their teens. We liken this experience to having our son learn golf from Tiger Woods or basketball from Michael Jordan. Absolutely inspirational and priceless! Our son will have a lifetime of wonderful memories associated with his MKSC experience. We are indebted to this team for the positive impact this experience will have on Cole throughout his life.

Our son is a member of the MKSC BU11 soccer team. Over the last year, we have seen many positive changes in our son which we directly attribute to his coach, Mohammad Khakpour. Our son became interested in playing club soccer at the end of his all-star season. We investigated various clubs, but after hearing the values put forth by Mohammad Khakpour, we decided that MKSC was the right club for our son. Mohammad is a phenomenal soccer coach, but additionally, he emphasizes such values as hard work, positive attitude, teamwork, discipline, and respect for others. These boys have learned excellent soccer skills, but also very important life lessons that currently benefit them off the field, and will help them grow into adults of good character. The boys on the team hold Mohammad in high regard and respect him very much. They are very committed to doing their best, and working their hardest for their coach. We are very impressed with Mohammad and very thankful that our son has had the opportunity to have such a tremendous coach and role model in his life.

Mohammad Khakpour is a truly gifted soccer coach who commands a tremendous amount of respect and discipline from each one of his players. He teaches the boys and girls not only sophisticated soccer skills and strategies, but also extraordinary life skills. Hard work, discipline, good manners, priorities, sportsmanship, positive self esteem and teamwork are just some of the priceless lessons each player learns under Mohammad’s coaching. During the past year, my husband and I have witnessed Mohammad take a scrappy team of BU10 boys who were each accustomed to being single player all stars, and transform them into a close knit group of winning team players who play an impressively sophisticated level of soccer. The boys enjoy working extremely hard for Mohammad because they like and respect him so much. We feel very blessed to have Mohammad as our son’s coach. He is a class act and a very positive influence in our son’s life.

Coach Khakpour is a gentleman of soccer. He is a gifted former
international soccer player who takes great pleasure in the role of teacher
to the young players on his teams. He motivates the kids to put forth great
effort in the practices that are conducted at near professional level. His
training methods are well thought out to increase the fitness, technical
skills and understanding of how to play the team game of soccer. More
importantly, his decency, discipline and caring attitudes for the wellbeing
of the kids make him a role model for our children to look up to and
emulate. My son is very passionate about this game, this team and his
coach.
