The MKSC aims to increase the soccer playing base and improve the quality of youth soccer in Southern California. By making soccer accessible to anyone and everyone who wishes to play the game, MKSC believes that it would not only introduce the skills and passion for a wonderful game, but also provides boys and girls with a foundation for establishing unique life skills, a healthy lifestyle and positive personal experiences.
The key objectives are as follow:
Mass Participation – providing equal opportunity for boys and girls, without any discrimination, to play the game in a safe environment. There will be a provision of facilities and equipment for training and playing.
Providing Continuous and Correct Player Development by designing appropriate coaching, training programmes and competitions for specific age-groups. Coaching for boys and girls to be done by qualified personnel.
Promoting soccer as an enjoyable activity by ensuring that conditions for competitions and training is not targeted at winning. Instead, activities will be fun-oriented with the aim of encouraging fair play, respect and friendship.
"A journey of thousands miles begins with a single step"

The single step begins with grassroots and youth development. MKSC have always emphasized on the development soccer from bottom to top as youths are the future.
The MKSC has always placed grassroots and youth development close to hearts and it is our duty as the MKSC to promote soccer at the youth level.
Organising age groups soccer carnivals from U-10 level and below will only motivate and inspire kids to play soccer. This is where they can display what they have learned and can also be an avenue for kids to learn the meaning of teamwork, friendship and also the taste of victory and defeat.
The importance of parent participation is also crucial in developing grassroots and youth soccer. Without parent's support, a young player's development may be stunted. Thus it is imperative that parents also play an important role in moulding the future stars of tomorrow.
Other than parents, grassroots coaches also play a significant role in player development. The MKSC needs more grassroots coaches as we strive to create a larger pool of grassroots and youth soccer.
It is only natural that with a bigger pool of players, more quality players would be produced and in turn, Ensure MKSC soccer remains at the higher echelons of soccer.
